Since a child, I have always loved reading historical non-fiction such as stories about the founding of our incredible country or legendary expeditions to far-flung places. Lately Ive been very interested in learning more about indigo and natural dye and pigment. Thats probably why I was outside all day long exploring nature. Ham/lamb? I like to make rhyming games shout-out games. As a child I did not have books. A neighbor had lent me a Nancy Drew Mystery and started me off. Who knew gardening and flowers would become a lifelong passion. My grandmother had these giant old books she would read to us from. This book looks lovely and I would love to own a copy! I think my favorite one was Henry Huggins and the Clubhouse. I also loved fiction stories with strong female leads. My favorites was my dads collection of National Geographic Magazines. It was horse books all the way for me when I was little! It is still a treasure of mine. At first, I was reading lots of WWII fiction based on true stories and real people. My love for bringing flowers together to create beautiful bouquets and delivering kindness and love to my customers has led me to be a florist today. I had the world at my fingertips!
